Breakfast, Lunch & Beyond

Flying Squirrel offers many breakfast and lunch items all day. We use organic and Alaska Grown ingredients as much as possible and strive to create something for everyone - carnivores, vegans, gluten free folks, children and people with (not severe) allergies. Come take a look around in our shop, there's almost always extras and specials not on this menu! Good food takes time ~ thank you for your patience.

Blueberry Barley Hot Cereal

Our hot cereal is half way between cream-of-wheat and oatmeal. Served with steamed milk and a drizzle of birch syrup. Made with Alaska Grown coarse ground barley, rolled oats, rolled quinoa, dried blueberries, ginger and brown sugar.

Granola with Milk or Yogurt

Crunchy, unique granola served with your milk choice made with oats, Alaska and/or organic honey, organic cane sugar, non-GMO canola oil, flax, hemp, sunflower, and chia seeds, dried blueberries and cranberries.

Fancy Grilled Cheese

It's back all winter! Fresh bread grilled with havarti, cheddar, provolone, apple, spinach and dijon mayo. | Add smoked salmon, optional.

Trust Me, I'm Vegan

House made hummus on whole grain bread with whatever fresh veggies we have on hand - usually spinach, tomato, peppers, and local microgreens. Trust us, it's awesome!

Turkey Special

Fresh bread grilled with turkey, cheese, veggies and dressing. Ask about this week's combo! 

Mediterranean Picnic Plate

Hummus, salami, mixed olives, tomatoes, grapes, toasted almonds, dried dates and figs, and house made seeded barley crackers.

Classic chickpea puree with tahini, garlic, parsley, olive oil and sundried tomatoes served with fresh bread variety. 

Deli Salads

Mostly during summer months, ask about our wide variety of deli-style salads available by the pound.

Talkeetna Grown kale oven dried with nutritional yeast and sea salt. That's it!
